Security responsibility
CarsBay’s product security is overseen by ebrahim kalimuddin, owner of carsbay f.z.e, which operates the CarsBay marketplace.
Our security work is currently owner-led, with one person responsible for reviewing security concerns and coordinating fixes. We are developing internal security-review and testing practices for our marketplace.
Report a security issue
To report a suspected security issue affecting CarsBay, contact:
Please include:
- The affected page, application, or feature.
- A clear description of the issue.
- Steps to reproduce it, where available.
- The potential impact and any relevant screenshots with sensitive information removed.
Avoid including passwords, access tokens, payment-card information, or other people’s personal information.
Testing authorization
Security testing of CarsBay systems requires prior written authorization from CarsBay. Any approved testing must remain within the agreed scope.
